MingoTech Mobile IT – Terms & Conditions

By scheduling or purchasing services from MingoTech Mobile IT (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“customer,” “you”) agree to the following terms:


Legal Disclaimer

These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between MingoTech Mobile IT and its customers.
By booking services, you agree to hold MingoTech Mobile IT harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities except where prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions waives or limits any rights you may have under North Carolina law.
If any portion of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
We are in no way affiliated with any other phone, computer repair, or technology-based business within the United States.

Monthly Appointment Discount:
$25 Service Fee discount for appointments scheduled within 30 days of your previous service.

Golden Discount:
Customers age 60+ receive a $25 Service Fee discount.

Diamond Discount:
Customers age 80+ receive a $30 Service Fee discount.

4. Equipment Orders

We may assist with ordering necessary parts or devices, but we cannot guarantee delivery speed or condition from third-party vendors.
If a replacement is required, we’ll make every effort to secure a free replacement. If that’s not possible, the customer is responsible for the replacement cost.


5. Liability & Damages

MingoTech Mobile IT is not responsible for damage to property or equipment unless caused by gross negligence.
Minor damages will be repaired within seven (7) days at no additional charge when possible.
Repairs beyond our ability or requiring outside service are the customer’s responsibility.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.


6. Injuries & Safety

We are not responsible for injuries sustained during service unless caused directly by our negligence.
Customers may be held responsible for technician injuries resulting from:


7. Scheduling & Delays

Appointment times are approximate; some jobs may take longer than expected.
Customers will be notified within one (1) hour of their scheduled time if a delay occurs.
Failure to notify will result in a $25 discount on the service fee.


8. Service Area & Travel Fees

Standard service area: Chapel Hill, NC 27514, and a 35-mile radius.
36+ Mile Travel: $30 per 35 miles travel fee.
Service beyond 60 miles may be declined.


9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason, including unsafe conditions or noncompliance with these Terms.

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including the Legal Disclaimer above.


11. Tax ID Cards

We accept Tax ID Cards.
A physical Tax ID Card must be shown at the time of the appointment.
This does not affect any eligible discounts.


12. Service Rates and Additional Fees

All standard services include up to one (1) hour of labor unless otherwise stated.
A rate of $70.00 per additional hour will apply for any work exceeding the initial hour.

If a service requires multiple days to complete, daily service fees may be applied to cover continued labor, travel, and scheduling costs. Any such fees will be discussed with the customer prior to continuation of service.


13. TV Mounting Liability Waiver & Release (North Carolina)

MingoTech Mobile IT provides professional television mounting and installation services within Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and surrounding areas.
By scheduling or receiving TV mounting or related services (“Services”) from MingoTech Mobile IT (“Contractor”), you (“Customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

13.1 Acknowledgement of Risk

Customer acknowledges that TV mounting and installation involves tools, drilling, lifting, and interaction with property structures, and may carry risks of property damage or personal injury. Customer voluntarily accepts all such risks.

13.2 Release of Liability for Ordinary Negligence

Customer releases and holds harmless MingoTech Mobile IT, its owner, employees, and agents from all liability, claims, and damages arising from the performance of Services, including claims based on ordinary negligence, except as otherwise stated in this Section.

13.3 No Release for Gross Negligence or Willful Misconduct

This release does not apply to claims resulting from gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or willful wrongdoing by MingoTech Mobile IT.

13.4 Responsibility for Undisclosed Conditions

Customer is responsible for disclosing any known hazards or structural issues, such as hidden wiring, plumbing, or weak mounting surfaces. MingoTech Mobile IT shall not be held liable for damages caused by conditions not disclosed prior to service, except in cases of gross negligence.

13.5 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, the total liability of MingoTech Mobile IT shall not exceed the total amount paid by Customer for the specific Service performed.

13.6 Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MingoTech Mobile IT from claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of Customer’s negligence, omissions, or breach of this Agreement, except where such claims result from MingoTech Mobile IT’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.

13.7 Legal Standing

This release is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Venue for any dispute shall be in Orange County, North Carolina.

13.8 Voluntary Agreement

Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to these terms before Services are rendered. This waiver is a binding part of MingoTech Mobile IT’s Terms & Conditions.
